THE GREAT PAUSE OF 2020

THE GREAT PAUSE OF 2020

I’m terrible at waiting.
I’m Dreaming of a better future – what are we going to be able to do after this? But more importantly, when!?

During this strange and uncomfortable time, I’m trying to ‘steer into the skid’ of the pause.

I’m in the fortunate position of being healthy, having a nice-enough apartment, a wonderful girlfriend that I’m isolated with.

The medical workers are the ones bearing the brunt of this. Thank you for risking your lives for us all. You are the soldiers on the front line of this war.

If you’re not healthy or have a family member who is, I’m really sorry you’re going through this. This fucking sucks. I hope for a full recovery.

For those of us that are healthy, the best thing we can do is stay home, and think of what’s next.

Take a step back from the media. Use this time of isolation for inspiring creativity and humanity.

I’m doing my best to use this time to reflect back and dream forward.

We’re going to need an army of creative thinkers to solve some problems:

How can we create jobs for the millions that are laid off?

What will help inspire those dealing with depression and other mental health issues due to the impacts from this coronavirus?

What will help our economy recover?

What are some healthcare solutions we can have to avoid this type or problem for when (not if) the next unknown virus comes?

In times like this it’s important to be asking questions rather than answering them – and the most important thing, is to ask the right questions.
